Rabbit River Watershed Management Plan

These documents comprise the entire Watershed Management Plan for the Rabbit River Watershed. The Rabbit River Watershed is comprised of all waters that flow overland and into the watercourses that lead to the Rabbit River. The watershed is located in Allegan County, Michigan and flows into the Kalamazoo River and then into Lake Michigan.

A Watershed Management Plan is used to focus the work within a particular watershed on the issues that cause problems with water quality. the plan is used to identify issues, prioritize problems and identify the best methods of implementing practices to reduce the issues in the watershed. This Watershed Management Plan was a joint effort created by a Steering Committee. Currently the Management Plan is used by the Allegan Conservation District to manage grants and implement practices to eliviate problems.
